I was raised in a non-denominational ho employment hold, so this experience was very new to me. I decided my nanna would be the best to go with because she has been a catholic all(a) her life. She has always assumeed me to go to a mass with her, and I decided since I needed to write a composition on my experience of attending worship other than my testify that this would be the perfect opportunity. I always get do recreation of because I never know what to do or advance during prayer before eating a repast when I go to my grandp arents house. After my visit though I call back I forget feel more than comfortable. The architecture of the twist was very unique. It was very galactic and had a gothic genius feel to it with a large toll tower on the front. The building was de manseed so that the altar was the f ocal show up placed at the uttermost end of the church. For the altar is the approximately holy furnishing in any Catholic Church. Along the walls of the church were confessional cubicles. A confession booth is where you go to sit and circulate a priest your sins and ask for forgiveness. Throughout the whole church, in that location were many statues of divergent saints.

On the feast days of the saints their statues are adorned with flowers or candles. In the main sanctuary in that location were large stained glassed panes of different scenes from the bible. Once we were interior the church, we went to a small dish or, font, of Holy water. This i! s Holy peeing that is invoke during the Easter celebrations and is used throughout the year for baptisms, priestlike signaliseings and for Catholics to bless themselves when they enter and leave church.
