Grease on Broadway Review

I went and watched the be guide, Grease, a few years back end in Columbus. It depicted the 1971 musical, and later on 1978 hit film, based on the students of a 1950s lofty school. The broadway stars Max Crumm and Laura Osnes, as Danny and blond. Their expedition to the lead roles were documented on the NBC show entitled, Grease: The star That I Want. The stars waited to work rise up together, but inadequacyed a received chemistry that is needed to play lovers. Crumm and Osnes atomic number 18 both in truth clever dancers, but something slightly them together except didnt seem right to me. I line up that two people should sincerely sell that they be emotional just about each other, if that is what they are suppose to do for their role.\nOsnes has a beautiful singing voice, and she compete her part as Sandy very come up. While Crumm seemed to give birth a hard conviction being a leader in his group. For anyone in a lead role, being a leader on tier is very im portant, and leading did not come naturally to him. The important concern I had about the actors, were that they seemed somewhat stiff piece of music performing. It seemed as though they stuck to doing scarce what they were told, instead of owning their parts, and making them their own. The performers are young, and still have a lot to learn. Being a good performer does not happen overnight, so they have plenty of time to schoolmaster the art of performing. You can just tell the actors had every virtuoso bit of the play drill into their head, and it seemed as though they were numb to stray off a bit, to make it their own. The show lacked the lighting of, Grease, that many know and love. I couldnt connect with the characters as well as I could when ceremony the movie. On a much positive note, the actors knew exactly what they needed to do, and they performed their parts as shell they could.\nThe youthfulness of the cast had a lot to do with the lack of skill on the stage. thither were a lot of young, and talented performers on that stage.
